Middle Fork and Main Salmon trips are conducted under permit issued by the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Salmon, Idaho. Operations and Facilities are operated on a nondiscriminatory basis. We are an equal opportunity employer. Middle Fork and Main Salmon trips are subject to a $4.00/day Recreation Enhancement Act fee.
Idaho Rafting Schedule
Scroll down for our 2012 Middle Fork of the Salmon and Salmon River launch dates. A deposit of $250 per person is required to reserve a space on the Middle Fork or Main Salmon. The balance is due 60 days (90 days for charters) before departure. Student rates apply to any student, in any grade level, including those in graduate school, vacationing with their family or friends.

Middle Fork trips scheduled for August 17, 25 and September meet in Boise, or by special arrangement in Salmon. All others meet in Stanley. Three-day trips that join a longer Middle Fork trip in progress are $1,495 per person, including a flight to or from the river from Boise, Stanley or Salmon.
*6-day trip that combines running the Middle Fork and Main Salmon. The trip meets in McCall or Stanley and includes a flight from McCall to Stanley at the start of the trip. Guests may opt to do only the 4-day Middle Fork segment.
**Fly-Fishing instructional trip. Includes a casting clinic on the 24th and a five-day fishing trip launching the next day. Flight to the river is included.
***Fly Fishing trips limited to 12 guests. Two fishermen and a guide per boat. This trips may be chartered by groups of 8 or more.

Water and safety concerns sometimes require that we launch our Middle Fork trips from the airstrip at Indian Creek, necessitating a flight from Stanley the morning of departure. The cost (about $125) of the charter flight from Stanley to Indian Creek is not included in our trip fare.
Trips that meet in Boise fly to the river the morning of departure. The cost of the flight to the river is included in the trip fare. The cost of a return flight from Salmon is not included.
Exclusive private Family s & Friends charters on the Main Salmon can be arranged for groups of 10 or more. Trips can be arranged for 4, 5 or 6 days. Call us for details.
Main Salmon trips meet in Salmon, Idaho the evening before departure. Groups may elect to meet in McCall instead of Salmon. Prices are Salmon to McCall. Trips that meet in McCall require a flight to Salmon the morning of departue. The cost of the flight, approximately $200, is not included in our trip fare.
